This program is specially designed for to-be and newly promoted managers and supervisors. It is primed to help prepare them for higher responsibilities and make them better and effective managers. It would enable participants to master the basics of business by learning the language of management, make for a successful transition from employee to manager/supervisor, and also demonstrate proper time management strategies to help deal with the constant demands of a managerial job function. Since a larger part of a manager’s job involves getting things done through other people, participants will learn the skills required to delegate tasks, responsibility, motivate lower level employees, and how to influence and direct other people’s performance. Finally, participants will learn how to solve problems and resolve conflicts as they attempt to achieve corporate goals and objectives.
