Introduction to Lean Systems/Six Sigma

Programme description & objectives
In the face of very stiff competition amongst industries and service delivery firms, this program would aim to identify and show how participating firms would remain competitive while achieving higher yields, shorter cycle times, lower inventories and higher customer satisfaction ratings.
Participants would learn how to effectively apply the elements and methods of Six Sigma through an understanding of how more than 25 tools and methods relate to the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) model. Determination of the relationship of basic statistics to Six Sigma and how it relates to strategic planning, the Voice of the Customer (VOC), Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Benchmarking, and Financial Investment methods would also be pursued.
